ISPO 2023
The ISPO World Congress is a global event for multidisciplinary prosthetic and orthotic care and in 2023 it will be 19th edition of the ISPO World Congress.
The German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) as well as the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) offer a German Pavilion at the ISPO World Congress for the fourth time and believe to open up new business opportunities for the German companies of the medical devices sector.
The German Industry Association for Optics Photonics, Analytical and Medical Technology SPECTARIS, as the initiating association, will accompany the German exhibitors and provide professional advice. 12 German companies from the medical devices sector will exhibit their products within the German Pavilion. The German medical devices manufacturers are well known all over the world for their high level of innovation and product quality. The R&D ratio is estimated at around 9% of revenue which leads to a highly innovative industry that generates around one-third of its revenue with products that are less than three years old. Today, Germany is the second largest supplier of medical devices worldwide. The high-quality brand of "Medtec made in Germany" represents products designed at the cutting edge of high tech and innovation.
On behalf of all exhibitors, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) and SPECTARIS, we are looking forward to seeing you at the German Pavilion. We wish you a very successful trade show, new ideas and sustainable contacts!

German Pavilion
The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) decides on, and supports, official participations in the Federal Republic of Germany's international trade fairs and exhibition programme. In addition to policy and budgetary issues, the active involvement in the presentation of Germany at international fairs and exhibitions is of prime importance. In a constant dialogue with private-sector partners, the division for international / national trade fairs and exhibitions of the ministry backs the export activities of German industry on international markets.
Furthermore, the "fairs and exhibitions division" is concerned with planning and implementing German participation in world expositions abroad and with major political issues regarding fairs and exhibitions in Germany.
The AUMA - Association of the German Trade Fair Industry, represents the interests of the trade fair industry on a national and international level in dealings with parliament, ministries, authorities and other organisations.
The association organises the official German trade fair programme abroad in close cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
As part of this programme, the Federal Government provides financial assistance for German participations at foreign events, but also for independent presentations by German industry abroad.
